Strongman and Strongwoman contest comes to Hylands!

NEW FOR 2023: HYLAND GAMES

Are you ready for the first ever Hylands Games at the National Country Show Live?

We’re launching Essex’s version of the Highland Games by bringing our very own Strongman and Strongwoman competitions to Hylands Park in Chelmsford this September.

Cheer on the contestants as they’re put through their paces with classic Scottish challenges pushing their boundaries and showcasing their strength. Who will be crowned the winner of the first ever Hylands Games 2023?

There’s fun for kids too with a tug-of-war competition AND a Welly Wanging contest where the winner will receive a signed poster of Eddie ‘The Beast’ Hall!

The Strongwomen’s competition will take place on Saturday 16th September and the Strongmen’s contest on Sunday 17th September. Find out more on our website here.
